This is a friendly reminder that the new procedure for Financial Closeout of Federally Sponsored Projects will take effect on August 1, 2025.
The procedure document is available here on the EFM website and accompanying training materials, including a video presentation and FAQ, can be found here.
As we are just one week away from the effective date, please review your worklist in PAMS to ensure timely submission of closeout packets. For guidance on preparing a complete and accurate packet, the “RAPID Smart Closeout Tool Manual” is available here.
If you have any funds that should remain open due to a pending No Cost Extension (NCE), please notify your assigned EFM accountant.
