Sponsor Details Page (New!)
We’ve introduced a new Sponsor Details page, a centralized resource for sponsor-specific requirements across all awards. You can access this page from the Award Overview tab.
Many sponsors maintain reporting, certification, or financial requirements in their grantee handbooks or guidelines that apply broadly to all of their awards. These requirements are not always consistently documented in individual award terms and conditions. The new Sponsor Details page addresses this gap by providing a single location to store and reference sponsor-level post-award requirements. This page will continue to expand as new sponsor information is added by EFM.
1. Sponsor-Level Requirements
- Sponsor Details captures requirements that apply across all awards from a sponsor, not just to individual funds. The tool includes a wide range of requirement types, such as:
- Sponsor Specific unallowable expenditures (e.g., GAEL, TIF, RPNI)
- Financial reconciliation rules (e.g., ACRN/PO reconciliation, retainage details)
- Financial deliverable requirements (e.g., expense reclassifications, payment remittance accounts)
- Other compliance elements (e.g., ECC reporting, sponsor specific financial deliverable templates)
- Viewable by all PAMS users
- Editable only by PAMS Help and EFM Management
- Fund-specific requirements will continue to appear on the PAMS Notes & Attachments page.
2. Ways to Search for Sponsor Requirements
- Sponsor Search
- Search by sponsor name, type, or specific requirement categories.
- Search filters operate as OR criteria-results will include any sponsor matching at least one selected condition
- Sponsor Details
- Search directly by sponsor name and view their full requirement list and historical updates.
‘Parent Sponsor Name’ Field on Advanced Deliverables Search
A new Parent Sponsor Name field has been added to the Advanced Deliverables Search, allowing users to search for deliverables by a Parent Sponsor, not just by the Sponsor or Prime Sponsor Type. This update makes it easier to search for deliverables across various child agencies within a larger organization. For example:
- Parent Sponsor: National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Child Agencies:
- National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)
- National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI)
- National Cancer Institute (NCI)
The Parent Sponsor list is sourced directly from PATS and replaces the previous “Include All NIH Sponsors” checkbox. The current Parent Sponsors list includes:
